Comparing Groups of Vertebrates

To help students in expressing similarities and distinctions between different groups of vertebrates, we offer a list of 12 vocabulary words (terms and phrases of comparison) as well as 12 matching vocabulary cards.

With our puzzle on classes of vertebrates, students not only practice the names of 36 vertebrates, but they also train their ability to categorize these animals and to sort them into their respective class of vertebrates.


When conducting the playful activity "Two Out Of Three - Comparing Classes of Vertebrates", students practice names of vertebrates, and at the same time, they develop their ability to find points of comparison and to express similarities and differences between entities.
